eBay auction proceeds to go to Autism Society of America
Pirelli World Challenge driver Jason Cherry is auctioning off his helmet for a good cause, with the auction having started with the launch of the SEMA Show earlier this week. 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of this Bell Racing RS7 carbon fiber helmet will go to Autism Society of America (ASA), which is a non-profit organization that advocates for a multi-disciplined approaches to autism research, in addition to supporting inclusion and self-determination for all aspects of life for people on the autism spectrum as well as their families.
The helmet features the global symbol for autism research in the shape of puzzle pieces, with the helmet itself designed and painted by Savage Designs. The design of the symbol featuring puzzle pieces is meant to reflect the complexity and the mystery behind the autism spectrum, with the different shapes and colors representing the diversity of people and families are who affected by various forms of autism. The bright colors of the puzzle pieces are meant to signal hope.
The proceeds from the winning bid will contribute towards the creation of a sibling scholarship fund created by Cherry.

Mazda Motorsports, Bell Racing, Pirelli World Challenge Series, and the ASA are auctioning off this helmet on eBay, with the auction ending at 12:54pm Eastern Time, on Sunday, November 9.
