Fiat introduces two special 500s at the Miami auto show

Ribelle and Urbana get new styling, same powertrain  Fiat brought two special editions to the Miami International Auto Show this week. The Fiat 500 Ribelle “highlights the rebellious side of the 500” and the 500L Urbana Trekking is “outfitted for city streets.” [Oh for sure, man.—Ed] The Ribelle is based on the 500 Pop and the Urbana is based on the 500L Trekking.  The 500 Ribelle gets a red roof, spoiler and mirror caps, along with black headlight and taillight covers. The wheels are black with red centers. The main portion of the paint is offered in white, silver, gray or black. Inside, the Ribelle gets either gray/black or gray and red accents.  Engine specs remain at 101 hp and 97 lb-ft of torque from a 1.4-liter Mulitair engine. The 500 Ribelle will start at $18,245, including destination. Matte black 17-inch wheels complement the look, which also includes satin chrome door handles, taillight bezels and accents on the front and rear.  The Urbana comes in six colors: forest green, lava red, yellow, white, gray and blue. The Miami show car came with a matte gray body and matte black roof that will not be available on production cars.  Inside, the Urbana gets a black leather steering wheel and leatherette accents.  A Beats audio system is standard, with six speakers, subwoofer and eight-channel amplifier. It also gets satellite radio.  The 500L Urbana Trekking comes in at $23,645 and will go on sale in the first quarter of 2015. The Ribelle goes on sale in December.
