Tuned 2015 Ford F-150 Pickups Headed to SEMA

The redesigned 2015 Ford F-150 pickup is just now reaching dealers, but apparently some tuners got their hands on this new truck early, as two heavily modified examples of the F-150 will be headed for the SEMA show next month in Las Vegas. After winning the show’s “Hottest Truck” award for the last four years, Ford is hoping that this new model will continue the tradition.

First is the Deegan 38, which was named for Ford Racing driver Brian Deegan. A whole list of tuners gave equipment like shocks, tires and wheels, lighting, a stereo system, and more to create this lifted, off-road truck that’s based on a 2015 Ford F-150 with the 3.5-liter Ecoboost V-6 engine.

Though we don’t have many other details yet, the Deegan 38 certainly looks aggressive, with a lift kit, huge off-road tires, light bars up front, a grey and black paint scheme, and what looks like some sort of setup in the bed that can hold extreme sports equipment like dirt bikes and ATVs.
The second tuned 2015 Ford F-150 is more street oriented, and is purpose-built for drifting by Formula Drift driver Vaughn Gittin, Jr. An air suspension from Air Lift Performance lowers this street truck for a menacing stance, and Gittin will surely get into some hijinks behind the wheel of this creation. Its green and silver paint scheme should turn some heads, and the wild tires and wider stance should provide plenty of opportunities to get the tail loose, especially if this street truck packs any extra power under the hood.
Stay tuned to find our more information about these two souped-up 2015 Ford F-150 pickups as they officially debut at the SEMA show next month.
