By on 7:04 PM

The 2014-2015 Audi Allroad has earned a 5-Star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the agency’s highest rating. Although the Audi Allroad was redesigned for 2013, the crossover wasn’t fully tested that year by the NHTSA.
The 2014-2015 Audi Allroad also scored a 5-Star rating in the frontal and side crash tests and a 4-Star rating in the rollover test. An available Forward Collison Warning system is recommended by the NHTSA.

“Audi is fully committed to producing vehicles that provide performance and luxury without sacrificing safety,” said Filip Brabec, Director of Product Planning for Audi of America, in a release. “This is reflected by the NHTSA’s 5-Star crash safety rating for the 2014 and 2015 allroad and the customers who return to the Audi brand for safe and reliable vehicles.”

Although new for 2013, the 2015 Audi Allroad has been updated with standard HID headlights and LED taillights, three-zone climate control, and a power liftgate. Available safety features include Audi side assist (blind spot monitoring system) and Audi adaptive cruise control that can slow the vehicle when approaching slower moving traffic.

The Audi Allroad hasn’t been evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
